- Abels Sketch book
The brain is essential for both creating art and in science. Test it on our interactive exhibition, named after the well known mathematician Nils Henrik Abel. How fast does your brain react? Are you able to relax more than others?
- The Planetarium
Join a space travel or a guided tour of the stars in the sky above us in the Science Centre's own planatarium.
- Leornardo Da Vinci - a genius of his time
The genius Leornardo Da Vinci is perhaps most know as a painter, but he is also a very skilled architect and inventor. In this exhibition you learn about some of his most significant scientific discoveries.
- Everybody counts
The exhibition "Everybody counts", is an interactive exhibition on mathematics. Here you can try to fit in to a cubic meter, try cycling on a bike with square wheels, or try to solve som mathematical puzzles.
- The Water cycle
What happens when we flush the toilet? How much faeces does a human being produce in a year? At the Vitenfabrikken Science Centre you can learn how sewage is cleaned, transformed into biogas and fertilizer.
- Who is Sandnes?
We need your help! What do you think about the city of Sandnes? The exhibition "Who is Sandnes?" says something about who the people in Sandnes are and where they came from. You also get to tell us your opinion!
- The history of Sandnes
Learn about the industrial and urban development of Sandnes from the 1850s and up till today.
- Krossen Havremølle (Oats mill)
The Krossen Oats mill is an authentic outs mill open to the public. The mill was closed in 1988 and has since then been a museum.
