The Department of Cultural History at Stavanger Museum is responsible for documenting Rogaland's general cultural history, with emphasis on the history of the city of Stavanger.
The department's collections comprise collections from rural districts, cities and towns, as well as church collections and an ethnographical collection.
The Zoological department is also located in Muségt. 16. Here you can see birds and different animals from Norway and abroad. Several changing exhibitions all year around.
